Bible For Beginners Discussion Group
Dunbar United Church of Christ hosts a one hour discussion group called Bible for Beginners on Monday nights at 7 PM at their Parish House located at 767 Benham Street in Hamden. The group meets each Monday until early June. Attendance at every session is not required and all are welcome to participate.
The discussion is led by Reverend George Manukas, who describes the class as “a very informal, casual, yet insightful hour that can be addictive. The group discusses what the Bible has to teach in our lives right now, as we go through our daily routines of work, family life, relationships, and community involvement.” The Gospel of Matthew is currently being discussed and study guides are provided.
